ChristinaNoel & The Creature and Arts on Site present Je Suis Gremlin. In a freshly vaccinated NYC, May 2021, The Creature premiered Je Suis Gremlin on a barricaded Brooklyn street. It was a joyous celebration of dance and community, and we are grateful for everyone who showed up in the late-May heat to experience our eighth evening-length work.
Now, Arts on Site will present The Creature in an encore performance to see the work in a theater setting. Je Suis Gremlin has been revisited and revised for a new space and a (slightly) changed NYC. The result is The Creature’s latest blend of dance and voice performance that straddles dance theatre and dance opera, sewn together by our new perspectives on space, boundaries, and the resilience of community:

Arts On Site is a women-led nonprofit arts organization dedicated to providing artists with opportunities to create and perform new work.
Performances are located in a large studio space with an air purification system. All performers are vaccinated.
All visitors are required to:
Arrive at least 15 minutes before performance (6:15 & 8:15pm).
Complete COVID-19 questionnaire (listed below).
Complete safety waiver.
Wear appropriate face covering in hallways, studio spaces, and for the duration of the performance.
Show proof of vaccination or proof of negative COVID test within the last 3 days.
Visitors are not allowed entry if they answer "yes" to any of the following questions:
Have you had COVID-19 symptoms in the past 14 days?
Have you had a positive COVID-19 test in the past 14 days?
Have you been in close contact with a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case in the past 14 days?
